CITEAN launches a project aimed at eliminating noise in brake systems. The QUIET project focuses on the practical application of existing knowledge on the subject to provide brake companies with practical tools to guide them in the optimal design of their products to avoid generating noise and vibrations in the system. 
CITEAN was present at the “Multibody Dynamics 2009” congress that was celebrated between June 29 and July 2, in the Warsaw Technological Institute, presenting the results of a theoretical study on one of its testing machines. The article contributed by CITEAN, titled “Taking Advantage of Symbolic Approaches in the Statement of Multibody System Problems: A Case Study”, was presented within the chapter on Real Time Simulation, computational efficiency and virtual reality.

Articles

The article presents the main conclusions of the research conducted in 2008 on fatigue prediction in two types of welded joints subjected to distinct demands, and their comparison with experimental results.
The article, prepared by CITEAN personnel, gathers the methodology used to evaluate the dynamic behavior of a vehicle based on track data acquired.
